I'm dreaming of a white Christmas,
Just like the ones I used to know,
Where the tree tops glisten
And children listen
To hear sleigh bells in the snow.

God made Christmas happen;
friends make Christmas beautiful;
music makes Christmas festive;
giving makes Christmas joyous;
love makes Christmas complete.

The rising moon, in sky above.
Engulfed in shroud of night.

Hangs high above the darkened earth.
And bathes it with its light.

Shadows soft, in moon lit glow.
The stars come out to play.

A heavenly path across the sky.
Winds the milky way.

Oh Lord Creator, King of Love.
Thy handiwork I see.

But Thy best work oh Prince of Peace.
Is what You did in me.

That was the night Jesus came.
And all through the house,

Not a person was praying,
Not one in the house.

The Bible was left.
On the shelf without care,

It's hopes and it's promises.
All buried there.

The children were dressing.
To crawl into bed,

Not once ever kneeling.
Or bowing their head.

It isn't the flowing ribbons,
Draped and curled with extra care,
Or the fine and fancy bows.
Tied with ornamental flair.

It isn't the label on the box,
The sum of money spent,
Or anything that shows the length.
To which you obviously went.

It's the genuine offer of love,
The yearning to make a connection,
A show of honest gratitude,
A display of sincere affection.

As Christmas time approaches.
I look back over the year.
and thank God for my shelter kitty.
and the meaning of the season is clear.

My life has so much more purpose.
And is so much happier too.
Since she gave me all of her love.
And made every day brand new.

Her wonderment at the Christmas.
lights brings us both such delight.
She makes me laugh at her antics.
She curls up close to me at night.

She likes the tree and ornaments.
And the tinsel and garland too.
She listens to the Christmas carols.
And 'helps' with the gift wrapping I do.

She has brought such love and laughter.
And as the year comes to a close...
I treasure my 'pound purrie'.
I'm lucky to have her, Santa knows.

And loving and caring.

He's felt in warm handshakes.
When people are meeting.

He's heard in the cheer of.
