though you have passed away.
And those who loved you dearly

The lilac that blooms today iz made of
last year's crumbled leaves nd this mornings dew.
It has in it perhaps tha breath of a tiger nd
minerals that were part of an ancient dinosaur.
The raw materials of that lilac hav perhaps spent time in
a seashell, a wagon wheel, a butterfly nd a hawk.

How old iz this mornings lilac? And how old r u?
U r as young as the morning, as old as the world,
U r as new as a raindrop, as old as the mountains.
U r 4ever a part of the world.
