I have a question
for you
'cause I want to
see things clear.
If a doctor ate
an apple a day
would it make
him disappear?

I won't. That's it.
I'm done. I'm through.
No more. No chance. I'm gone.
Forget it. So long.
Goodbye. I'm out
the door. Drop it. Leave it.
Not maybe. No, never!
Not ever. No way.
No how.
You can't get me,
just 3 foot 3
to milk that
angry cow.

The Cat with a Smile
Will wait for a while,

Cleaning its paws
And sharpening its claws,

Though for what I don't know -
Perhaps it's just show?

If there's a mouse nearby
Perhaps it should go.

I couldn't sleep for spiders,
Spiders climbing everywhere -
I couldn't sleep for spiders,
Spiders all round me.

I couldn't sleep for spiders,
Spiders climbing in my hair:
I couldn't sleep for spiders -
They're all that I can see.

I couldn't sleep for spiders
(Someone keep the light on bright!):
I couldn't sleep for spiders,
Oh! What a terrible night!

Football in the classroom,
Teacher's just gone out:

Little Willie Nelson
Was told to give a shout.

Oh, she's coming back!
Oh! We cannot wait!

Been left to his sad fate.

The cat was proud, it's neck was long,
It played a howly, wincey song

That struck the neighbours in the head -
They wished that bastard cat was dead.

Bogies come in different shapes,
In different colours, different weights,

Some are straggly, long and thin,
Some are wet and won't stay in.

Some are smeared across my face
(Losing them would be a waste),

Whilst others must be flicked away
Because they cling and want to stay.

My sister says bogies taste great,
She'd love to eat them off her plate!

But since her nose is now empty
She'll have to have a proper tea.

In Winter I get up at night.
And dress by yellow candle light.

In Summer, quite the other way,
I have to go to bed by day.

I have to go to bed and see.
The birds still hopping on the tree.

Or hear the grown-up people's feet.
Still going past me in the street.

The lightning and thunder.
They go and come.

But the stars and the stillness.
Are always at home.

Dance, little baby, dance up high,
Never mind baby, mother is by.

Crow and caper, caper and crow.
There little baby, there you go.

Up to the ceiling, down to the ground,
Backwards and forwards, round and round.

Then dance, little baby, and mother shall sing,
With the merry gay coral, ding, ding, a-ding, ding.

First I saw the white bear, then I saw the black.
Then I saw the camel with a hump upon his back.

Then I saw the grey wolf, with mutton in his maw.
Then I saw the wombat waddle in the straw.

Then I saw the elephant a-waving of his trunk.
Then I saw the monkeys-mercy, how unpleasantly they-smelt!

The friendly cow, all red and white
I love with all my heart
She gives me cream with all her might
To eat with apple tart.

We're having a Halloween party at school.
I'm dressed up like Dracula. Man, I look cool!
I dyed my hair black and I cut off my bangs.
I'm wearing a cape and some fake plastic fangs.

I have to write a poem
but I really don't know how.
So maybe I'll just make a rhyme
with something dumb, like "cow."

Whether the weather be fine
Or whether the weather be not
Whether the wether be cold
Or whether the weather be hot
We'll weather the weather
Whatever the weather,
Whether we like it or not!

Monday's child is fair of face
Tuesday's child is full of grace
Wednesday's child is full of woe
Thursday's child has far to go,
Friday's child is loving and giving
Saturday's child works hard for its living
And a child that's born on the Sabbath day
Is blithe and bonny and good and gay.

There's a Friend for little children
Above the bright blue sky
A Friend who never changes
Whose love will never die
Our earthly friends may fail us
And change with changing years
This Friend is always worthy
Of that dear name he bears

He clasps the crag with crooked hands
Close to the sun in lonely lands
Ringed with the azure world he stands
The wrinkled sea beneath him crawls
He watches from his mountain walls
And like a thunderbolt he falls

Sticky fingers ' tangled hair
scattered crayons everywhere
Fancy artwork ' on the wall
drawn by midgets ' three feet tall
Tell me why ' and tell me how
that was mine ' I want it NOW
Fix my bike. Buy me gum

She is my heart, he is my soul
And without them I am not whole
She gave me strength made me grow
And once he came my heart was full
I gave them life but it took them to Make me live

Children are like kites you spend a lifetime
trying to get them off the ground. you run
with them until you are both breathless
When they crash you add a longer tail. They
hit a rooftop you pick them up and comfort them
