If I were a memory I’d hold you there forever
Reminding you of the good times we shared together
If I were a smile on your face I would stay
Never to let sadness chase me too far away
If I were a teardrop I’d roll gently down from your eyes
Not to burn much but to mend your sweet cries
If I were a hand I’d want you to hold me in your own
Carry me through life .. even when I’m grown……
A gentle brush of her fingers,
Sending shivers down my spine.
In the love I see in her eyes,
Is a love that equals mine.
She greets me with a smile,
And leaves me with a kiss.
If she were to ever leave me,
I couldn’t imagine what I’d miss.
Maybe it’s her touch,
Or the way she makes me feel.
But whatever it is,
I’m head over heels.
I have this feeling inside me
That I just can’t begin to describe
I need to set these feelings free
Because I know I can’t keep them inside..
I looked at a sweet, beautiful rose,
And then I looked at you,
And I kept looking at you,
For the rose isn’t as beautiful as you.
Let all my smile be yours
All your tears be mine,
Let all my happiness be yours
All your sadness be mine,
Let the whole world be yours,
Only you be mine
As you held me in your arms and staired in my eyes
my heart fell to my feet and I erased all other ties
from that moment on, I was yours all the way
i knew you were special, and i wanted you to stay
For so long I have hidden away my heart
But something happens when I hear your voice
Feelings and wants come rushing back
My heart taking over in this I have no choice…
So many times I’ve looked up
To heaven in the night,
Asking answers from our Lord
Who’s always in my sight…
As a perfume doth remain
In the folds where it hath lain,
So the thought of you, remaining,
Deeply folded in my brain,
Will not leave me: all things leave me,
You remain.
Other thoughts may come and go,
Other moments I may know,
That shall waft me, in their going,
As a breath blown to and fro,
Fragrant memories: fragrant memories,
Come and go.
Only thoughts of you remain,
In my heart where they have lain,
Perfumed thoughts of you, remaining,
A hid sweetness, in my brain.
Others leave me: all things leave me,
You remain.
How long will you be special to me?
As long as the stars twinkle in the sky,
As long as angels are there up high,
Till the ocean run dry and till the day i die.
